It could be said it was the find of the century, at least thats what local Wisconsin fisherman Clyde Bennett says. He was trying to find a real good spot to do some crappie fishing and happened to come across some wingtips.
“As God is my witness, I broke down in tears” said the still emotional Bennett. “I followed Marcis all through his career and when he finally hung it all up, I thought I’d never see the man who made wingtips famous again… this HAS to be sign… he HAS to still be out there… somewhere….”
The well wore wingtip shoes were a trademark of the famous NASCAR driver who ran his last race in 2002 in the famed Daytona 500.
